Began a long association of 36 years with SBI as a Probationary Officer on October 1,1985, after completing MBA in 1984. Also completed CAIIB (Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Banking).

Have had wide and varied exposure to and experience in various areas of Banking and Life Insurance in multiple Leadership roles viz:

A) Lending to
i) MSME/Mid-Corporate

ii) Retail (Housing, Auto,Personal Loans etc.)

iii) Agriculture & Micro Loan Segment

B) Financial Inclusion

C) Life Insurance

D) Human Resource Management.

E) International Banking

Assumed various Leadership positions at SBI and delivered significant contributions in these roles.

Successfully managed Large Teams involving Business Development, Strategy and Execution.

Adherence to i) Risk ii) Regulatory Compliance, and iii) Audit Frameworks remained central to all engagements.

Delivering excellent and efficient Customer Service was always at the forefront of motivation and focus.

In addition to being a Whole Time Director at SBI Life (a listed entity), was also on the Board of SBI FOUNDATION (CSR arm of SBI).

Was also a permanent invitee to all the meetings of SBI Central Board, Executive Committee of Central Board, Audit Committee, Risk Management Committee, Customer Service Committee, IT and Digital Strategy Committees.
