"Sarathy Srinivas is an inclusive insurance specialist who in the last 14 years has traversed various underinsured markets, designing and delivering innovative idigital protection solutions for the underserved.

He has a wealth of experience (both good and not-so-good) launching and scaling innovative inclusive insurance programs for the underprotected in Africa and Asia. From scaling to 30 million policies in under 6 months to, on the flip side, only 300 in 3 years, Sarathy has his fair share of experiences and lessons learnt.

Sarathy was previously SVP – Strategic Partnerships & Innovation at MicroEnsure (now MIC Global) for over a decade, and currently leads Strategy & Distribution at WRMS (Weather Risk Management Services), a leading climate and agriculture risk management solutions provider based in India. At WRMS, he and the team are currently focused on collaboratively introducing parametric insurance solutions to a range of markets, from Honduras to Fiji. Sustainable solutions that enable smallholder farmers become more resilient is a key focus area for WRMS. "
