He has over 25 years of experience focused on policy, regulation, and investment aspects of Energy Transition and Climate financing in emerging economies besides the design and implementation rollout of financing lines to drive investment into the climate positive /low carbon sectors. Upendra has been a past Chair of Alliance for Energy Efficient Economy (AEEE) and Sustainable Business Leadership Forum and has been a member of several task forces and working groups setup by the Government and Industry Associations. In addition, he has conceptualized cKers Finance, a Sustainability financier and serves as a board member /advisor to several start-ups in the Climate tech space.
