Dr. Raman Ramachandran has 3 decades of corporate experience of which more than half was for BASF India Ltd. and PI Industries running business in Asia Pacific.

Raman is passionate about Management Education particularly in the context of helping practicing managers to be successful by combining his years of corporate experience with academic experts at K J Somaiya Institute of Management. He plays competitive Table Tennis and was a long-distance runner.

Raman was Robert S McNamara Fellow of the Economic Development Institute of World Bank in the year 1990. He was awarded FICCI's Chemical and Petrochemical sector's ""Lifetime Achievement Award for contribution to Agrochemical Industry” in November 2021.
